MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A family in Montgomery County is without a place to live after a fire broke out at their home Thursday morning.
Pete Piringer, with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, said units were dispatched to a fire in the 25000 block of Woodfield School Road near Hawkins Creamery Road.
Once on the scene, firefighters found smoke coming from the house.
Piringer noted that all five adults and six children were out of the home and were not hurt.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
