MARION, Ohio — Authorities are asking people to avoid the area of LaRue Green Camp Road in Marion County as law enforcement manages a “critical situation” in the village of La Rue.

Few details are available, but the Marion County Sheriff’s Office posted on social media around 9:30 a.m. about a “law enforcement incident” in the area of LaRue Green Camp Road between Carter Road and LaRue Richwood Road.

Around 11:45 a.m., the sheriff’s office said law enforcement is managing a critical situation. The sheriff’s office is asking anyone to call 911 immediately if they see a male wearing gray sweatpants, a black and gray t-shirt and no shoes.

The sheriff’s office did not provide any additional details to 10TV when asked what was happening.
