CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - The Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum (PPHM) is inviting the community to its Dino Day event this Saturday.

PPHM says the event is being held in recognition of Archaeology Month.

Visitors can expect animal encounters with the Amarillo Zoo, a T-Rex skull and other fossils, games, crafts, and more.

Admission is $5 for everyone and includes a raffle ticket.

Dino Day will take place Oct. 11 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the PPHM East Lawn, 2503 4th Ave.

Organizers say every ticket supports the museum and the work it does to share history with the community.
