MARSHALL, Texas (KSLA) - A juvenile has been arrested by the Marshall Police Department in connection to threatening statements made towards a school in Marshall ISD.

Investigators say they received the report on Thursday, Oct. 9. They then identified and arrested the juvenile.

“The safety of our students, faculty, and community remains our top priority. The Marshall Police Department and our law enforcement partners take all reports of potential threats seriously and will continue to respond swiftly to ensure the safety and security of our schools,” said MPD in a press release.

The juvenile’s name was not released due to their age.
