Two teenagers were arrested in connection with an alleged gang-motivated assault and stabbing incident in July in San Jose, the police department said.

Authorities said they responded to a report of a gang-motivated assault with a deadly weapon inside a business in the 3000 block of Meridian Avenue just before 6 p.m. on July 13.

According to police, two teenagers began altercations with three victims regarding their gang affiliation. Officials said the suspects proceeded to attack them, with one of the suspects brandishing a knife and stabbing one victim while the other physically assaulted the second victim.

The suspects then fled the scene, authorities report.
