Police in Philadelphia are searching for a man wanted for attacking a person and stealing their cell phone in Center City on Monday, officials said.

The incident happened on Oct. 6 just before 2 a.m. on the 1300 block of Chancellor Street when the wanted man, along with a group of other people, attacked a victim, according to police .

The victim suffered injuries to his face and the suspect stole his cell phone, police explained.

Officials said that the man has tattoos on his arms and was last seen wearing all dark clothing.
