A set of new resources focused on the perspectives, experiences, and impact of Latin Americans has officially launched to all New York City public schools.

City Schools Chancellor Melissa Aviles-Ramo announced on Thursday, in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the citywide launch and distribution of “Hidden Voices: Latines in United States History.”

This new edition focuses on people of Latin American descent and their influence on social, political, cultural and economic landscapes of the United States.
