The UK could get an early taste of winter as advanced weather charts predict snow is on the way.
WXCharts suggests parts of the UK - particularly the Scottish Highlands - will see snow between October 20 and 22.
Although Scotland was expected to bear the brunt of the chill, temperatures were expected to hover just above 0C elsewhere.

The flurries were expected to develop from early Monday morning over the northern and western Highlands until around midday.
Lowland areas like Edinburgh were expected to see only cold rain.
However the charts also show snow was likely around parts of northern England, particularly around the Pennines and higher ground between Newcastle and Manchester.
