Snow could be on the horizon for parts of the UK later this month.

The forecast comes as weather conditions turn colder heading further into autumn.

Snow is set to fall on Inverness, Aberdeenshire, Perth and Kinross, Stirling and Falkirk, Argyll and Bute and Ross and Cromarty, according to wxcharts.com.
