A biological male with gender dysphoria who duped a young man into believing sex acts were being performed on him by a woman has been locked up.

Ciara Watkin - who identifies as a woman - spent the night with the victim after they met on Snapchat.

The 21-year-old performed sex acts on him after telling him not touch below her waist because of menstruation.

She 'purposely' kept her sex a secret so the sexual activity could take place.

Durham Crown Court heard how Watkin met up with her victim at a house in Thornaby, Teesside.
