LOS ANGELES (WKBN) - Howland High School graduate and current Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Tanner Scott has been removed from the National League Division Series roster.

Left-handed pitcher Justin Wrobleski has replaced him on the Dodgers' roster.

According to Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts, Scott underwent an abscess incision on Wednesday night and is currently recovering.

The roster move makes Scott ineligible for the National League Championship Series, should the Dodgers advance. However, he could potentially return for the World Series if Los Angeles wins the National League pennant.

This season, Scott has posted a record of 1-4 with a 4.74 ERA with 23 saves in 61 games. He has struck out 60 batters in 57 innings of work.
