LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The Nevada Secretary of State’s Office has launched a new website to further transparency for elections, officials say.

Officials say the new site shows how election complaints and reported violations are investigated. It also offers explanations of safeguards and has examples of some of the most reported complaints.

“While very few allegations result in actual violations of election law when investigated, educating the public on the investigative process will help clear up misconceptions and increase confidence in Nevada’s safe and secure elections,” said Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar. “Every report of an election violation is taken seriously and investigated by the Secretary of State’s Office.
