LEXINGTON, N.C. — The president and owner of Triad Carports and Metal Structures in Lexington has been arrested again. Davidson County deputies say 53-year-old Jesse Black accepted deposits for buildings and structures in which work was never completed. Black was charged with four additional counts of Obtaining Property by False Pretense on October 2. Deputies say the total deposit amount for uncompleted work related to the recent arrest is $40,955.00.
Black has faced similar charges earlier this year. Deputies say Black now faces 50 felony charges related to the investigation. A cumulative total in this investigation for all deposits taken without work completion is approximately $620,000. Investigators say he defrauded a total of 48 people.
