BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The family of a man shot and killed on I-65 last year is still searching for justice in his case.
55-year-old Jonathan Bradberry was killed in July 2024 , and now a witness tells authorities they saw someone in a black truck firing several shots at Bradberry.
“Some construction workers suddenly heard gunshots, and then his car crashes, originally called in as a traffic accident, and then very quickly changed over into a shooting,” said Bob Copus with Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.
Investigators saying Bradberry left a party and was driving along I-65 North near 32nd Avenue when all of a sudden police say he crashed into the median.
He was shot behind the wheel.
