The latest storm that is expected to bring rain and isolated thunderstorms in Southern California grounded all flights to Los Angeles International Airport Thursday.

Data from LAX said the weather and thunderstorms are impacting the conditions, with the visibility of 6 miles.

Airport officials have asked all inbound flights to LAX to be held at their origin airports at least through 1:30 p.m PT Thursday, according to Flightware.

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are most likely Thursday inland and in the mountains. Lingering showers are in the forecast Friday for mountain and desert communities.
