Celebrity Traitors fans have said that Alan Carr is ‘better game player’ than they thought as the first murder of the series was confirmed.

The new version of the BBC game show kicked off on Wednesday night (October 8), as 19 famous faces arrived at the Scottish Highlands.

Presented by Strictly's Claudia Winkleman , it soon became clear that the celebrity version will be just as dramatic as the original series.

Taking part in the series is Alan Carr, Cat Burns, Celia Imrie, Charlotte Church, Clare Balding, David Olusoga, Joe Marler, Joe Wilkinson, Jonathan Ross, Kate Garraway, Lucy Beaumont, Mark Bonnar, Nick Mohammed, Niko Omilana, Ruth Codd, Paloma Faith, Stephen Fry, Tameka Empson and Tom Daley.
