Mapusa : Achieving a ‘lead’ in the Ganeshpuri armed dacoity case, the Goa police have zeroed in on three persons in a South India city. However, the whereabouts of the dacoits are yet to be ascertained.

Although the police remained tightlipped on Thursday over the progress of the probe into the dacoity case, it is understood that the three persons, who are linked to the case, are being brought to Goa.

The police had dispatched eight teams to neighbouring states to track down the dacoits.

Sources said the robbers had travelled in a getaway car to Panaji after burgling the bungalow of a prominent doctor at Ganeshpuri in Mapus
