ST. PAUL, Minn. — Minnesota has launched its first-ever Drinking Water Action Plan to protect drinking water from source to tap over the next decade. Announced at the New Brighton Water Treatment Plant, the plan aims to tackle both well-known threats like arsenic and newer ones such as PFAS. The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) led the development of the plan, following a directive from the State Legislature in 2023.
