Attorney General Todd Rokita is explicitly acknowledging he violated two of the Rules of Professional Conduct for Hoosier attorneys that led to his 2023 public reprimand by the Indiana Supreme Court.

The Republican previously admitted, under oath, that he committed attorney misconduct. But Rokita publicly insisted, following his reprimand, that he did nothing wrong, according to court records.

That prompted the Supreme Court's Disciplinary Commission to file a second professional misconduct complaint against Rokita for allegedly lying to the state's high court by seemingly disavowing his sworn statements in the first disciplinary case.
