DANBURY, Conn. —
A Connecticut mother accused of attempted murder for allegedly trying to poison her child's father could be coming to Massachusetts.
Kristen Hogan, 33, is accused of trying to kill the father of her child by pouring antifreeze into his wine. According to an affidavit, she told investigators that she never intended to kill him but wanted to make him sick as payback.
Hogan planned to post bond, 10% of her $1 million bail, on Thursday. Before she can be released, she will be fitted with a monitoring bracelet and sent to Danbury Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, WTNH reported.
If her release is allowed, she would be placed on home confinement with family members in Massachusetts.
