CATAWISSA, Pa. — The No.12 Tigers are on the prowl again.

The state powerhouse failed to make the playoffs last season but are working hard to forget that, starting 2025 with a 6-1 record.

The win over a one loss Mifflinburg team last week has Southern Columbia feeling feisty with another tough game on the road at Montoursville this week.

“We have to be prepared to play a, you know, a 4-quarter physical game and it's been that way with them over the years,” said Southern Columbia’s head coach, Jim Roth. “Traditionally they've been strong up front and we've had tough games against them, so we expect nothing different this year,” said Roth.
