A woman accused of trying to poison her estranged partner and father to a child was in court in Danbury Thursday.

Kristen Hogan, 33, allegedly slipped Ethylene Glycol, a poisonous compound commonly found in antifreeze, into an opened bottle of wine and an iced tea bottle in her estranged partner's home, according to police.

The victim told police he believed she attempted the act to become full owner of their home and take full custody of their child.

The warrant indicated she had full access to the home, and she had become more cordial leading up to the alleged poisoning.
