Acrisure Stadium is set to get more upgrades over the next two years, according to the Tribune-Review in Pittsburgh . The Pittsburgh Steelers will be upgrading the seats in the stadium.
Julia Burdelski reports that 22,000 stadium seats will be upgraded over the next two years, including seats for those with disabilities. Many of those seats are broken, and some seats are separating from the concrete beneath.
Those seats, which are coming loose and rusting, are in need of repair, with the Steelers will manage. The stadium capacity sits at 68,400, and by 2029, over 58,000 of the seats will be replaced with new ones as repairs continue in the stadium.
The seat replacements are part of a $17 million planned by the PSSI Stadium Corp, and the first phase of money will come from surcharge
