LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Savannah Bananas are bringing their one-of-a-kind baseball spectacle to Memorial Stadium next summer, marking a major stop on their 2026 Banana Ball World Tour.
The team announced Thursday they will take the field in Lincoln twice, first at Haymarket Park on Thursday, June 11, and then at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, June 13, with first pitch at 7 p.m. The Bananas will face off against the Firefighters in both games.
“This is an exciting day for Nebraska Athletics and the City of Lincoln,” Nebraska Director of Athletics Troy Dannen said. “Since we have begun pursuit of large stadium-type shows for Memorial Stadium, the Savannah Bananas have been consistently mentioned as an event Nebraskans were excited to see in person.
