SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Grambling State University Tigers have had a roller coaster of a 2025 season.

The Tigers are 3-2 this season and feeling well-rested coming off their bye week.

They opened the 2025 season in dominant fashion, beating NAIA Langston University 55-7 during the Shreveport Kickoff Classic.

But one week later Grambling State was on the receiving end of an absolute beatdown from the number one team in the country, Ohio State, losing 70-0.

But since returning to FCS play, Grambling has had its ups and downs, as the Tigers are 2-1 in FCS play.

Grambling beat both Kentucky State and East Texas A&M, but the wins didn’t come without any drama.

You could call Grambling the cardiac cats, as in both wins, the team came back from being down 14-0.
