PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Deputies are searching for a suspect accused of knocking out an employee's teeth while robbing a Porterville business Thursday.

According to deputies, around 10:30 a.m., a person walked into Cosecha Recycling Center armed with a gun and demanded money.

Deputies say the suspect then pistol-whipped the employee, the impact caused their face to be cut and their teeth to be knocked out.

The suspect ran from the scene before deputies arrived. Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 559-733-6218.
