The Gary Sinise Foundation is building a specially adapted home for Marine Jason Pacheco and his family.

Stars and Stripes were on display: Red, white and blue American flags adorned the outside of a house in Fallbrook Thursday, which was fittingm because the house was welcomed home an American hero.

Shortly after 10 a.m., with about a hundred people lining a path and patriotic music blaring, U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. Jason Pacheco and his family walked into their new home.

The house was donated by the Gary Sinise Foundation, which was established in 2011 under the philanthropic direction of the award-winning actor. Through the years, the foundation has supported veterans, first responders and active-duty military through efforts big and small.
