WATERVILLE, Maine — Governor’s Restaurant in Waterville has temporarily closed after a guest reported finding mice in the building, according to a statement from the restaurant.
In a Facebook post Wednesday morning, the restaurant said mice were found in the old banquet room in the basement that had apparently "chewed their way up to the dining room." The guest contacted the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, according to the restaurant.
Governor's, located at 376 Main St., said it is working with a licensed pest control company and state officials to fix the issue.
