SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -A Greene County judge is giving the owner of a now-closed roofing company one more chance to state his case.

All the while, customers have waited years for refunds.

On Your Side’s Ashley Reynolds first brought you the story that led to the Missouri Attorney General taking action.

We’re talking about LoveOurRoof. A multi-state roofing company with a Springfield location that suddenly closed in 2021, leaving hundreds of customers in limbo. One year later, the Missouri Attorney General filed a lawsuit.

But it took years to serve the two out-of-state owners. One paid up and was recently dismissed from the case. The other has repeatedly been a no-show.

Jim Harding is one of the owners of the now-closed LoveOurRoof. The Missouri Attorney General wants him to pay up.
