FLORENCE — As senior Dia Jenkins began Florence-Carlton's match against Arlee with a serve, she quickly found herself delivering a second serve after taking the first point.
And then a third serve, and then a fourth serve, and then a fifth serve. Jenkins served the entire set, all 25 points, en route to a 25-0 shutout of the Scarlets. After falling in the state championship match to Huntley Project last fall, the Falcons look as dominant as ever.
Junior Emory Ralston said the team's strengths, its hustle and endurance, come innate as Falcons.
