JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ind. —

A southern Indiana woman who had been missing since Oct.1 has been found dead, according to police.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said 36-year-old Sasha Borman was last seen on Oct. 1. She was reported missing on Sunday.

On Thursday, officials said Borman was found dead and her family was notified. Police did not say where she was found.

The investigation into her death is ongoing and no other information is being released at this time.

Police said they will share more information as the investigation progresses.
