JEFFERSON COUNTY, Indiana — Days after a southern Indiana sheriff's office asked for the public's help in locating a missing woman, her body has been found.
Sasha Borman, 36, was last seen on Oct. 1 around 4:30 p.m., according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. She was reported missing on Sunday, Oct. 5.
In an update Friday morning, the sheriff's office said Borman's body had been discovered.
"Due to the ongoing investigation, no further details regarding the circumstances of Ms. Borman's death are being released at this time," police said, adding that additional information may be released as the investigation progresses.
The sheriff's office extended its condolences to Borman's family and loved ones during this difficult time.
