WALHALLA, S.C. —
The city of Walhalla Water Department has issued another boil water advisory.
On Thursday, water officials announced that crews are working to repair a water line that was damaged by a contractor working in the area of Highlands Highway.
As a result, a 48-hour boil water advisory was issued for customers in the shaded area in the image below.

Customers are advised to vigorously boil their water for at least three minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, or food preparation. Any ice made from water that has not been boiled should also not be used for drinking purposes.
Water samples will be taken and tested. The city will notify customers when the advisory is lifted.
