PIERZ — Brooklyn Hanneken finished with 36 set assists, 18 digs, eight kills and a block to help the Pierz Pioneers rally from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Little Falls Flyers 3-2 in a Granite Ridge Conference match Thursday, Oct. 9.

Sophie Leidenfrost recorded 32 digs for Pierz and Eva Schlieman added 12 kills, four digs, three blocks and an ace.

The Flyers’ Annika Halvorson posted 13 kills and five blocks. Gabby Dahlberg led Little Falls with 26 digs and Courtney Herdering recorded 40 set assists and seven digs.

VERNDALE — Payton Gravelle finished with 20 kills for the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines as they defeated the Verndale Pirates 3-0 in a Park Region Conference match Thursday, Oct. 9.
