Loved ones of Giselle Britt are mourning the mother of four's death. The 30-year-old was killed in a shooting last Thursday in Franklin.
Britt's family said they want justice and an end to gun violence.
Her older sister, Ivory Walker, said Britt struggled with addiction, but that was no reason she should have been murdered. Now, Walker said, Britt's four kids, all under the age of ten, are left to grow up without their mother.
Just before three in the morning last Thursday, Franklin police responded to Mariner Street to find Britt shot in the back and stomach.
Walker said she did not want to believe it.
“I asked the officer when she called me, are you sure it’s Giselle? How sure are you it’s Giselle?" said Walker.
First responders rushed Britt to be airlifted to Norfolk, but she di
