ORANGE - Maeve Powell’s first season coaching the Mahar girls volleyball team was certainly a crash course.

The former Mahar standout (Class of 2018) was thrust into the varsity coaching job in 2022, and the Senators went 1-16 with an extremely young and inexperienced roster.
