ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Planes flown by U.S. military members will no longer take to the sky at the Air Dot Show in Atlanta this weekend.

The popular Air Force Thunderbirds were originally scheduled to wow the crowd with tricky maneuvers, but the federal government shutdown has grounded the teams, the air show’s organizers said on Wednesday.

All ticketholders for the 2025 show, which runs from Oct. 11-12, will receive free admission to the 2026 show, which is slated to include the Navy’s Blue Angels. No refunds are available for the 2025 show.
