LUFKIN, Texas — The Lufkin Police Department announced on social media that a Lufkin man died in a one-vehicle crash on Thursday night.

According to police, the crash took place on Calvin St.

Lufkin Police said in their Facebook post that no other persons were injured as a result of the wreck.

The Lufkin Police Department is waiting to release the name of the man until his family is notified.

"Officers are investigating the cause of the accident," the Lufkin Police Department said in a Facebook post. "Please keep this family in your prayers."
