Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has seized 5 acres of government land worth about Rs 750 crore on Road No.10, Shaikpet mandal in Banjara Hills, tv9 telugu reported.
The land partly allocated to Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), was allegedly occupied illegally by an individual named Parthasarathi using a fake survey number (403/52), which he then fenced, deployed bouncers and blocked a planned water reservoir project, Hydraa said in a statement.
The agency with the help of police and revenue teams, demolished sheds and secured the site while criminal cases have been filed against the encroacher.
