New Hampshire Supreme Court Justice Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi can now officially return to the bench after a panel of judges agreed to “reinstate her to the practice of law” on Thursday afternoon.

Earlier this week, Hantz Marconi was convicted of a misdemeanor for criminal solicitation.

The ruling comes after the Supreme Court lifted her administrative leave from the bench. Thursday’s order was her last hurdle in making a return to the bench after more than a year.

Hantz Marconi pleaded no contest in Merrimack County Superior Court to a charge of soliciting then-Gov. Chris Sununu “to secure a governmental privilege and/or advantage” in an investigation into her husband, Geno Marconi, director of the Division of Ports and Harbors in the Pease Development Authority.
