Manchester Police have arrested a city man in connection with a shooting on Pine Street on Sept. 6.

According to a press release, Dwight Pingue, 57, has been charged with first degree assault with a firearm. He turned himself in to Manchester Police on Wednesday.

The shooting was reported on Sept. 6 at approximately 3:40 p.m. near 218 Pine St. A man told police his brother had been shot and he was taking him to the hospital. The injuries were found to be non-life-threatening.

Police were told two men were involved in an altercation and one shot the other during the course of it.
