We'll start our Friday off with a few showers, but these become more isolated as the morning continues on and any rainfall will remain light. By mid-morning, the majority of us are dry, but cloud cover will hang around after the raindrops stop. However, some high pressure just to our north will sweep in to bring out the sun for the afternoon. This sunshine will help warm us up, as will some strong southwesterly winds. These winds will be on the breezier side all day, around 10-15 mph, before calming this evening. Highs today land in the upper-60s and low-70s for southern Wisconsin. Once the sun goes down, temperatures drop quickly into the 50s, so bring an extra layer when heading out for Friday night plans.
