Poca’s high school football loss to Braxton County last Friday hurt the Dots in more ways than one.

The Eagles scored five unanswered touchdowns, including three in the fourth quarter, to defeat the Dots 34-14 at the Poca homecoming game at O.O. White Stadium.

The loss came in a key Little Kanawha Conference game and marked the second straight defeat by Poca -- all before facing Williamstown in a 7 p.m. matchup on Friday at White Stadium.

Yellowjackets sophomore quarterback Breck Allen has completed 56 of 91 passes this season for 652 yards and seven TDs, but with five interceptions, making coach Chris Beck’s offense more one-dimensional than in years past.

The rushing game is led by Jackson Kerr, who has 633 yards on 95 carries for an average of 6.7 yards per carry. Kerr has five TDs
