Lingering am rain clears
Pleasant Homecoming Parade weather
Beautiful weekend ahead
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - If you’re waking up to a bit of drizzle or scattered showers, particularly in the western parts of our area, these will dissipate quickly. By sunrise, that rain activity will have cleared our region completely, giving way to clear and sunny skies by midday. You’ll find the afternoon pleasant, with temperatures comfortably climbing into the mid-60s to low 70s across much of southern Wisconsin. As we transition from Friday into Friday night, a high pressure system will settle in, promising very quiet conditions and clear skies. It will be a great evening for the UW Homecoming Parade, but you may want to keep a light jacket or sweatshirt handy if you plan to stay into the evening
