The Phillies are entering what could be an offseason of significant turnover after exiting the playoffs in the division series for a second straight year .

Four hitters who finished the season in the starting lineup are due to become free agents as well as several members of the pitching staff. The most significant potential losses are designated hitter Kyle Schwarber, left-handed starter Ranger Suarez and catcher J.T. Realmuto.

"I'm hopeful that we'll retain most of the guys, if not all of the guys," Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski told reporters on Sept. 30. "But I'm also realistic that it's not going to be easy. We like our core. We're hopeful to keep them with us."
