A piece of Calgary Flames history is up for grabs, as a penthouse owned by Harley and Rebecca Hotchkiss has hit the market at a newly reduced price.

The penthouse, located at 1201, 690 Princeton Way SW, is owned by the Hotchkiss Family Estate and has never been for sale before. It was custom-built by Hotchkiss in 2002.

Harley was one of six Calgary businessmen who bought and moved the NHL’s Atlanta Flames hockey franchise to Calgary in 1980, along with being a key player in overseeing the construction of the Scotiabank Saddledome.

He passed away at the age of 83 back in 2011.

The penthouse first hit the market last December for $9,500,000 and has been relisted for $7,500,000.
