Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said a man recently released from a Kentucky prison who went to the state as part of a reentry program has been arrested and officials are now working to return him to the commonwealth.
Ronald Exantus , 42, was arrested in Florida Oct. 9 for "failing to register as a convicted felon," Uthmeier said in a statement posted on social media.
Uthmeier did not specify how Exantus would be returned to Kentucky, but said he was taken into custody after the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Fifth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office in Florida served a warrant for his arrest.
