OCALA COUNTY, Fla. (WKYT) - The man convicted in connection with the stabbing death of 6-year-old who moved from a Kentucky prison to mandatory re-entry supervision in Florida has been arrested.

According to records obtained from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, Exantus was booked into the Marion County Jail at 4:39 p.m. Thursday.

In a release, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said Exantus failed to register as a felon with the sheriff’s office within 48 hours as required by law

Exantus has been serving mandatory reentry supervision in Florida, after being released from prison in Kentucky last week .
