We are giving you the FIRST ALERT to wall to wall sunshine this weekend.

My goodness, did we have a beautiful Thursday across Eastern Kentucky.

We had wall to wall sunshine with highs in the mid to upper 60s.

If you liked yesterday, then today, and even this weekend in general will be the same story.

This story will even continue well into next week as a ridge of high pressure is set up to the north of us.

Not only is it forming at the surface, but high up in elevation as well.

Highs will make it into the low to mid 70s for Monday and Tuesday.

Keep in mind, our average high for this time of year is now 71 degrees.

While it will feel cooler, it is where we should be for this time of year.
