When fans step into Ooey Gooeys on Oct. 16, they’ll be watching a band reborn.

Shredding in black and agonizing over the darkness of reality, Rose Cora Perry and The Truth Untold will perform as a four-piece band for the first time in Hamilton. With half of the band now originating from the Hammer, the collective is the most intricate it’s ever been, but before their arrival, The Truth Untold was on brink of collapse.

“Last year, in the middle of a tour, my long-standing musical partner and romantic partner, who was my drummer, and I broke up. We had formed the band together,” said Perry, the lead vocalist.

“He was a ridiculously talented drummer and lead guitarist, and I did all the vocals, rhythm guitar and bass. And then we hired bassists to come with us on the road.”
